“We are very excited to expand our partnership with Habitat for Humanity and help families in need realize their dreams of homeownership,” said Jeff Rief, president of Larson Manufacturing. “Giving back to our communities is a key part of the LARSON culture, and we have supported Habitat for Humanity for many years. This gift will help advance Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build homes, communities and hope.”

About 200 families are expected to benefit, and local affiliates will use the gift where they need it most. Some will build new homes. Many will use the funds neighborhood revitalization or home preservation projects. The grant is a 2:1 match, encouraging affiliates to get their communities involved. Affiliates are even allowed to count volunteer hours toward the match.

“Faithful support from partners like LARSON enables us to serve more families and to increase our impact,” said Larry Gluth, senior vice president of U.S. and Canada, Habitat for Humanity International. “We are grateful for their partnership and the difference they are making in helping Habitat affiliates create affordable housing in their communities.”
